I am a social person, a 'people person' some have said. Being a part of the SmugMug Daily community has been a truly life-changing experience as I have developed so much more of a focus on my photography because of it and have developed virtual and real friendships in this community from all parts of the world. Since my husband Steve and I love to travel, we have really enjoyed the opportunity to meet some fellow SmugMuggers along the way and look forward to meeting more and more in the months and years ahead!
October 23,2009 Scott Kelby and me at the PDN Photo Plus Expo in New York City. I know he is not a SmugMugger, but his name is certainly mentioned often enough that I felt I could post our pic here. What a nice gentleman to let me gush about how excited I was to meet him walking through the lobby of Jacob Javits. He offered to have his friend take our pic with my camera.. Funny, the settings weren't exactly right and we only took one shot, but I was able to adjust it to make it workable with Lightroom2! What fun!
