February 18th, 2008 - "I'm Packed!!!" - This was my surprise. This time tomorrow night, Steve and I will be on a plane to Ireland! We are very excited to take this trip. Our frequent flyer miles + $86 was enough for 2 tickets! We will actually only be there for 4 full days, we fly back next Sunday afternoon. I will miss posting and seeing your shots for a few days, but hopefully, I will have a few good pics myself to share when I get back!!! The top bag is my carryon...pretty much full of camera stuff in that one. . We are trying to travel light, but the 40D is going anyway! See you next Sunday!
February 17th, 2008 - Strange Still Life... Well, today nothing jumped out at me on its own. I have seen so many wonderful shots taken by candlelight and of eggs so I thought I would go for both and give it a try. NOT EASY!!! It is late, I have no more patience, I must go to sleep. This is my potd... I promise this week there will be some exciting photography in my future to share.. I will tell you tomorrow!!!
February 16th, 2008 - Desperation shot. This may be too dark for anyone to even see, but I did take it today. It was taken with my cell phone in a movie theater before the movie started. Steve is sipping some hot tea as he had a terrible tummy flu Wednesday night and is still not feeling 100%. Anyway, I was playing with the cellphone camera and took this. It is incredible how much he looks like his late father. Oh well, it is my potd, posted before midnight. Now I can go to sleep. Oh, in case you are interested, we saw the movie "In Bruges".. a dark comedy. I liked it very much, but it was different!
