Post 649 1.17.10 Yes, I really was in Washington DC this weekend...Here is the shot that really proves it. Short weekend..back to Philly on Amtrak later this morning...work for me on Monday. I really am still in a bit of a photography slump. I hardly took any pictures this weekens.. Only just overy 50 shots which is really hardly any for me...I didn't like the gray overcast skies, the cold itself seems to discourage me and I just wasn't all that inspired. I hope this feeling goes away soon....
Post 648 1.16.10 A look up the long escalator in the DC metro... We had some delays with our metro into DC and had to take a bus from one Metro stop to another 2 or 3 stops away in order to get where we were going... It was a back up in passengers who had to go up the escalator without any coming down the other way...I thought the light streaming down here and the ascending lines up to the bright sunlight was an interesting image...
Post 647 1.15.10 Mmmm, a little treat while visiting DC with my cousins. We stopped into a cupcake store called, 'Red Velvet', where we each had an amazing cupcake after lunch today!!! If you're going to break your diet routine and indulge. This is a great choice!
