A gorgeous fall evening welcomed us to meet Iron Chef Jose Garces on his Luna Farm property and enjoy home grown foods in the company of generous benefactors celebrating the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Bucks County Opportunity Council in 2015.
2015 marks the 50th year the Opportunity Council has helped low income families achieve economic self-sufficiency. Donations to the group help to provide food for a family that is hungry, car repairs so they can make it to work or guidance from experieinced coaches to complete their education and find better employment.
The Oppoutunity Council stands apart in bringing all of these resources together to support those who long to permanently leave welfare and overcome poverty.
