2010 Ind DragonBoat Regatta 4 of 5
The first Saturday in June marks the start of the Independence Dragon Boat Regatta Festival in Philadelphia on the Schuylkill River about 3 miles north of the Philadelphia Art Museum.. What started with less than 30 teams a few years ago has expanded to 70 teams of racers in 2010. The day was packed with race after race and lots of activities sponsored by the US Army to help entertain the crowds of people who participated and came to watch the action.

It was a pleasure meeting so many of you throughout the day....what a lot of fun! My goal was to capture the action of the races, but mostly the excitement and enjoyment in the faces of the people who were there.
