New Grange is a neolithic tomb built over 5000 years ago. One of many of these sites in the area, but one of the few you can actually go into.
This is the neolithic tomb "New Grange".

Very windy on this day!
Quartz wall rebuilt in 1970's using original stones from area. Egg shaped stones represent cycle of life here at New Grange.
Photo shot by a fellow visitor to the site.

Entrance to New Grange. ( My camera 'raincoat' is shadow in upper right :( )
We walked through lower entrance. Very small passage. Incredible how it was built. Never a drop of water inside though built over 5000 years ago.
